… can schools and districts go to build their capacity to align and improve writing instruction and student achievement from preschool through high school?
Now it is possible for districts to
- count on coherent, effective staff development on writing year after year
- provide writing support for new teachers
- sustain a high quality writing program
Now it is possible for teachers to
- expand their knowledge of effective writing instruction
- develop skill and confidence in their teaching of writing
- improve student engagement and achievement in writing
Each grade cluster series is comprised of four after-school workshops. Upon completion of Level I, teachers will be eligible to register for Level II if desired or they can wait until the next year to take Levels II and III. After each level, certificates will be issued to participants. SB-CEU’s are pending.
